Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) will be conducted by Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education (APSCHE) in the month of May 2019. AP PGECET 2019 will be conducted in CBT mode for admission into post-graduate courses in the field of engineering, technology, and pharmacy offered in Universities/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. All candidates must note that the primary preference for admission into post-graduate courses will be given to GATE/GPAT qualified candidates and then if any vacancies left, will be allotted to the AP PGECET 2019 merit rank holders.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) releases the syllabus of AP PGECET every year. The exam is conducted for 14 disciplines. No changes have been notified in paper pattern or syllabus as yet.
AP PGECET 2019 Exam Pattern
Exam Mode: Computer Based Test
Type of questions: The AP PGECET 2019 is paper pattern will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's), where the candidates will have to select one answer to every question from 4 options available.
Time Duration: The total time duration of the AP PGECET 2019 test is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours. The candidate will have to complete the AP PGECET test within the given time period. No additional time will be provided to the candidates for attempting the test.
Total Questions: A total of 120 questions will be asked in the AP PGECET 2019 examination.
Total marks: Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, thus, the total maximum possible score in AP PGECET 2019 is 160.
Marking Scheme: For a correct answer, one mark will be given to the candidates. There will be no negative marking.
Traversing between Questions: While attempting the AP PGECET 2019 Exam, the candidates can navigate back and forth from one question to another. There is no hard and fast rule to go on from one question to next in a sequence.

AP PGECET 2019 Preparation Tips
The application form for AP PGECET 2019 will be provided on the official website sche.ap.gov.in. from March 2019. Candidates are informed that AP PGECET 2019 application form is available through online mode only. No printed applications will be announced for AP PGECET 2019. Aadhaar card is mandatory while filling the online application form. Candidates should save the print copy of the application form future use.
Application Fee: Applicants have to pay Rs. 1000/- against the application form. For SC/ST candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 500/-. The candidate who wishes to apply for multiple tests needs to pay a separate registration fee for each test. The application fee can be paid through AP Online center or through credit/debit card.

Correction in application form
A correction window will be provided to the candidates who wish to make changes in their already submitted application form.
